Mon 2- Tue 3 Oct At Sea | Relax in the warm Caribbean sun as we sail southwards passing through the Bahamas and Turks & Caicos islands towards Santo Domingo. |

Thu 5 Oct Ponce (Puerto Rico) | A full day to see the beautifully preserved Spanish colonial city of Ponce or one of the most important Amerindian sites in the Caribbean. This may also be the first opportunity to spend time in the Caribbean rainforest. |
>Fri 6 Oct Virgin Gorda (British Virgin Islands) | We anchor in the magnificent setting of the North Sound, a one-time pirate haunt, and drive across the saddleback to the magical Baths. Or swim in the warm Caribbean waters and see some of the wonderful marine life. |
Sat 7 Oct Saba (Dutch Antilles) - Basseterre (St Kitts) | We visit contrasting islands today: the strikingly mountainous, and little visited, island of Saba and then St Kitts and its mighty Brimstone Fortress, "the Gibraltar of the Caribbean". |
Sun 8 Oct St John (Antigua) | Explore the historic site of Nelson's Dockyard, an 18th century British naval yard. Alternatively relax on one of the island's famous beaches. In the afternoon we cruise past the island of Montserrat with its looming volcano. |
Mon 9 Oct Iles des Saintes - Marie Galant (French West Indies) | We spend a day at these two small remote islands with fine beaches, old sugar mills and an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. |
Tue 10 Oct Fort de France (Martinique) | A day to explore the ruins of the former capital, St Pierre, which was destroyed by the eruption of Mt Pelee in 1902. There is also an opportunity to learn about the island's fascinating rainforest habitat. |
Wed 11 Oct Rodney Bay - Soufriere (St Lucia) | We anchor in the morning in Rodney Bay to visit Pigeon Island, once used as a base to monitor the French fleet in Martinique. We then sail past the famous Pitons to Soufriere to explore the south of the island. |
Thu 12 Oct Bridgetown (Barbados) | Explore Barbados from bustling Bridgetown to the remote and undeveloped Scotland district. We see some examples of the "great" plantation houses. |
Fri 13 Oct St George's (Grenada) | After a morning at sea, we spend the afternoon on the "Spice" island of Grenada and its picturesque capital of St George's. We explore the mountainous interior of the island including the Grand Etang rainforest. |
Sat 14 Oct Scarborough (Tobago) | Our excursions today include Fort King George, the best preserved of the fortifications that were built during the 17th and 18th centuries, and the Tobago Forest Reserve, established in 1765 by the world's first Environmental Act. |
