Wed 1 Nov Patmos | Here we visit the hill-top Monastery of St John, where it is believed the Book of Revelation was written. |
Thu 2 Nov Dikili | During our call to Dikili we visit the impressive site of Pergamum and the elaborate Asclepieion, a tribute to the god of healing. |
Fri 3 Nov Kusadasi | Visit the extensive ancient city of Ephesus, one of various sites of interest in the area included in our programme of excursions. We spend the evening in port, a perfect opportunity to sample some local cuisine. |
Sat 4 Nov Bodrum | We anchor off the town of Bodrum to visit the Castle of St Peter and the Tomb of Mausolus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. |
Sun 5 Nov Fethiye | A full day in the lovely bay of Fethiye including visits to the ancient Lycian capital of Xanthos and Letoon or take a supplementary full-day excursion up the Dalyan River to the site of Caunos. |
Mon 6 Nov Kas | After a morning at sea we arrive in Kas. Our visits take us across the mountains to Demre to St Nicholas' Church and Myra to view the splendid rock cut tombs. |
Tue 7 Nov Antalya | Minerva sails early morning to arrive at the port of Antalya early afternoon. Here we visit the splendid theatre at Aspendos and the ancient city of Perge. |

Mike Everett Ornithologist, author and lecturer, has worked for the RSPB since 1964. Widely travelled he has a special interest in the migration and identification of bird life seen in the Mediterranean.
Elizabeth Gordon Well-known lecturer in art history for NADFAS, the National Gallery, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. She will bring to light a host of classical art and architecture with special reference to Greek, Roman and Byzantine sculpture.
