Fri 15 Dec Fujairah | After a morning at sea we call at Fujairah, the most scenic of the Emirates, backed by the imposing Hajar mountains. We visit Badiyah, one of the oldest towns in the region, with its ancient mosque. |
Sat 16 Dec Muscat | An early morning arrival in the Sultanate of Oman, where we see its immaculate capital of Muscat and have the option to visit the forts of Nizwa and Jabrin on the supplementary excursion. |
Sun 17- Mon 18 Dec At Sea | Minerva sails the inviting waters of the Arabian Sea. Relax by the pool or listen to an informative talk by one of our Guest Speakers. |
Tue 19 Dec Mumbai (Bombay) | Lunchtime sees our arrival in India's commercial hub of Mumbai. Our afternoon's sightseeing will include the Prince of Wales Museum and a scenic drive taking in the glorious sweep of Marine Drive from Malabar Hill. Or travel by launch to see the famous rock-cut caves on Elephanta Island. There is also the opportunity for last minute purchases of silks and spices. |

Oliver Miles CMG Entered the Diplomatic Services in 1969 and in the Arab World has worked in Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and UAE. He was the last serving Ambassador to Libya in 1984. International diplomacy and politics are his speciality.
